CUPE Agreement


The City of Dawson Creek and CUPE Local 2403, representing City workers, have reached a new collective agreement which will be in effect until December 31, 2019.

The agreement calls for 1.75% wage increases in 2016 and 2017, followed by 2.0% increase in 2018 and 2019. New language to align the use of family leave with the employment standards act was also included.

The City of Dawson Creek is pleased with the results of this most recent round of negotiations and looks forward to a continued positive working relationship with the employees who deliver the services to the citizens of Dawson Creek.
