Please be advised that over the course of the day all waste bins that were placed around the community for flood debris disposal will be cleaned up and removed.
Residents, businesses and non‐profits who haul their damage to a Tier 1 transfer station or landfill between June 17, 2016 and July 5, 2016 will be reimbursed for tipping fees. Proof of flood damage must be submitted to the Regional District by July 15, 2016. Proof can include a letter from your insurance agency, photos, or confirmation that they have applied for disaster financial assistance.
