The City of Dawson Creek invites proposals from qualified professionals or firms to undertake a two stage sub-surface drainage project at the Dawson Creek Regional Airport.
Phase 1 involves the following scope of work:
- A condition assessment and report of the existing sub-surface drainage issues surrounding the Runway, Taxiway and Apron areas. This includes; engineering services, preliminary design drawings, and construction cost estimate for any proposed rehabilitation for the areas, as applicable; and
- Completion of an ACAP grant application for the project outlined above.
Phase 2 of this project will occur if the City is successful with ACAP grant funding. The scope of work includes completion of detailed design drawings and specifications, procurement of construction services, and engineering supervision for the duration of the project construction for the scope of work of rehabilitation recommended at the conclusion of Phase 1 and accepted for ACAP funding.
A mandatory site tour will be held on March 11, 2016 at 2:00 pm local time at the Dawson Creek Regional Airport.

It is the sole responsibility of the Proponent to ensure that its proposal is received at the above location and by the time stipulated. Proposals received after the stipulated time will be rejected and returned to the Proponent unopened. Faxed proposals are not acceptable and will be rejected. The City reserves the right to accept or reject all or any proposal and to waive any informality, incompleteness or error in any proposal.
Proponents must refer to the RFP documents for the terms governing the selection process. All proposals received by the City of Dawson Creek Director of Corporate Administration become the property of The Corporation of the City of Dawson Creek and as such are subject to the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act.
