The City of Dawson Creek is seeking proposals from qualified parties to:
- conduct a review and assessment of the City’s current records management practices;
- establish a formal Records Management Policy;
- establish a personalized Records Classification System that meets the needs of the current records; and
- develop a detailed work plan for the implementation of a Records Management program that meets compliancy requirements imposed by current legislation, ensures protection of records and applies local government best practices for record keeping.
This is not a request for a specific records management system or software, but rather an assessment of the existing situation and a suggested strategy on how the City can move forward.
All contract documents are available through BC Bid. The Proponent is solely responsible for ensuring any addenda are downloaded, reviewed and included in their bid. Proposals must be received by 2:00 p.m. (local time), on July 7, 2017. One (1) hard copy and one (1) electronic copy (saved on a USB in a Microsoft compatible format) must be delivered, in a sealed opaque envelope clearly marked with the proponent’s name and address and the project name and number, to Brenda Ginter, Director of Corporate Administration at:

It is the sole responsibility of the Proponent to ensure that its proposal is received at the above location and by the time stipulated. Proposals received after the stipulated time will be rejected and returned to the Proponent unopened. Faxed or emailed proposals are not acceptable and will be rejected. The City reserves the right to accept or reject all or any proposal and to waive any informality, incompleteness or error in any proposal.
