This Request for Proposals is an invitation by the City of Dawson Creek to prospective proponents to submit proposals for the provision and implementation of a Recreation Management Software System, as further described in Appendix ‘A’ – Specifications.
The City of Dawson Creek’s Community Services Department has utilized the “Class” recreation management software solution since 1997 to support the delivery and management of recreation activities, including registration, facility scheduling, point of sale and membership solutions. The vendor will no longer support this software after November 30, 2017.
Details of Submission
Proponents should structure their proposals in accordance with the instructions in the RFP. Where information is requested in the RFP, any response made in a proposal should reference the applicable section numbers of the RFP where that request was made.
All contract documents are available through the BC Bid. The Proponent is solely responsible for ensuring any addenda are downloaded, reviewed and included in their bid. Proposals will be accepted up to 2:00 p.m. (local time), July 21, 2017. Proposals must be sealed in an opaque envelope, clearly marked with the name and the project name/number and will be received by Brenda Ginter, Director of Corporate Administration at:

It is the sole responsibility of the Proponent to ensure that its proposal is received at the above location and by the time stipulated. Proposals received after the stipulated time will be rejected and returned to the Proponent unopened. Faxed or emailed proposals are not acceptable and will be rejected. The City reserves the right to accept or reject all or any proposal and to waive any informality, incompleteness or error in any proposal.
Proponents must refer to the RFP Documents for the terms governing the Bid process. All proposals received by the City of Dawson Creek Director of Corporate Administration become the property of the Corporation of the City of Dawson Creek and as such are subject to the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act. Once a contract has been awarded the name(s) of the successful proponent(s) will be available to the public upon request.
