The Calvin Kruk Centre of the Arts is named after the late former Mayor Calvin Kruk. It was his vision to have a state of the art facility for the arts community in Dawson Creek. In 2014 the City opened the Centre in a renovated old post office. The facility boasts quality facilities for local artists such as dance studios, a 200 seat multi-purpose theatre, music studios, textile studios, daycare space, archives and meeting rooms. The facility is managed by the Kiwanis Performing Arts Centre (KPAC).
