Annual Kiwanis Trade Show – April 19-22 at the Memorial and Kin Arena.
Senior’s Pick up – April 30 & May 1. The Rotary Club(s) of Dawson Creek will assist the residents of our community by picking up spring yard waste for seniors and physically challenged people who call city hall at 250.784.3604 and register by April 26, 2012. Criteria to register: either a senior and/or person with a disability and live on property. PLEASE NOTE: This service is for Spring & Yard waste, unusual or heavy items will not be picked up.
Community Clean Up Day - Saturday, May 5. Sign up your Non-profit group to help clean our community and your group will receive a $200 honorarium. Deadline to register is Wednesday, May 2, Call 250.784.3604.
4th Annual Swap & Shop – Saturday, May 5 at the Memorial Arena. FREE Garage Sale- Bring your old items you no longer require and find something to take home!
Kiwanis Community Band Spring Concert and Dinner - Saturday, May 26 at KPAC Auditorium. Doors open at 5:30pm. Adults $20, Children $10.
Coupon Program for Waste Clean Up – The Peace River Regional District has changed its spring and fall bulky waste cleanup program to reduce costs and improve service to the public. Walking Track at EnCana Events Centre
Walking Track Schedule- Jan-Mar 2012
Closed on Weekends, Stat Holidays, and the day of, before, and after events. SCHEDULE SUBJECT TO CHANGE WITHOUT NOTICE
How to Access the track: Enter at Kenn Borek Aquatic Centre. Sign in at the front desk. Take elevator to 3rd floor. When done, return to Kenn Borek Aquatic Centre to sign out.
*Please Note: Access back to pool closes 15 minutes after walking track closes.
Basic Guidelines:
- No food or beverages allowed on track
- Indoor shoes only on track (outdoor shoes must be removed at Aquatic Centre)
- Children 12 and under must be with a responsible adult
