Out of School Care

Our Out of School childcare service is specially designed to meet the needs of you and your child(ren). This licensed program gives children, kindergarten to grade 6, a place to have fun with others their own age, weekdays during hours when school is not in session. This program is designed to be very active. We are also open on Non-Instructional Days. Registration is not confirmed until all necessary paperwork is received and payment is made to Parks and Recreation City Hall, (10105 -12A St.). Call 784-3604 for more information.

Age:  Kindergarten - 12yrs of age
Date:  Monday - Friday during school season (closed stat holidays)

Drop-in's are taken, provided that space is available.

Morning Care (September - June)
A great way for your child to start the day and get energized for school!  A minimum of 8 participants is required.
Time:      7:00 - 9:00am
Location: Canalta School

After School Care (September - June)
Are you looking for after school activities for your child during the week? This fun program is a great way for your child to relax, have fun and even learn new things when school is dismissed for the day! Join our staff for games, crafts, field trips, activities and more throughout the school year.
Time:       2:30 - 6:00pm
Location: Tremblay School, Canalta School

Non Instructional Days (Throughout School Season)
Are you looking for ways to keep your child active on non-instructional Days?  This fun, active full day program is designed to keep your child moving and learning new things.  Come join us!
Time:      7:00am - 6:00pm
Location: Youth Care Centre

OSC SPRING BREAK Program (During School Spring Break)
Fun filled days are ahead for children registered in this Spring Break program!  Arts, crafts, bowling days, movies, and a Party are just a few of the things happening during the Spring Break Program. Please call Parks and Rec if you are interested as our program fills up quickly! (Program currently full - accepting children on the waitlist.)
Time:      7:00am - 6:00pm
Location: Youth Care Centre

OSC Summer Fun Program (July and August).
This program is designed to keep your child active! Each week has a theme which includes field trips, crafts, games and adventure!
Age:         5 - 12yrs
Time:        7:00am - 6:00pm (Mon-Fri)
Location:  Youth Care Centre and Kin Arena

NOTE: Out of School Care fees include one snack.
