The Eco Depot collectes and process all recyclable materials within the Peace River Regional District and has recycling bins located at Extra Foods, Walmart and the DC Transfer Station. Please visit their site at the link below for more information.
Composting
You are welcome to bring compostable materials such as grass clippings, leaves, etc. to the compost site, located at:
941/949 – 99 Ave

Please do not leave any bags or garbage behind- use the garbage bin for any bags used to bring compostable materials. The site is open 24 hours.
If you wish to purchase your own composter, you can do so at any hardware store.
Free Wood Chip Mulch
If you would like free wood chip mulch for gardening, you can call City Hall at 250.784.3600 to make arrangements for pick up.
