A subdivision of land can:
- create two or more lots out of one lot,
- adjust an existing property (lot) line, or
- consolidate two or more lots into one.
The review and consideration of proposed subdivisions in the City of Dawson Creek is the responsibility of the City’s Approving Officer and is governed by the Subdivision and Servicing Bylaw and the Zoning Bylaw. These Bylaws set out subdivision requirements such as minimum lot dimensions, lot area and lot width and development servicing requirements, such as sidewalk, street lighting, and sewer and water connections.
Fee: $250.00 plus $25.00 for each lot created.
