Keynote Speakers:

Tina Olivero

Founder, Publisher and Global Visionary for

The Oil and Gas Magazine
www.theogm.com

Twenty Years ago, Tina Olivero looked into the future and saw an opportunity to make a difference in the energy sector.  6 Years before there was even a drop of oil brought to the shores of Newfoundland, she founded The Oil and Gas Magazine from a back room in her home on Signal Hill Road.  A single mother, no financing, no previous journalism or oil and gas experience she forged ahead, with a creative vision and one heck of a heaping dose of sheer determination.

With her pioneering spirit Ms. Olivero developed a magazine that would educate, inspire, motivate and entertain readers around the world.  A magazine, that focuses on our projects, our people, our opportunities and ultimately become the bridge to new energy outcomes and a sustainable new energy world.

Today, The Oil and Gas Magazine is a global phenomenon that operates not only in Newfoundland, but also Calgary across the US and as far as the Abu Dhabi, in the Middle East.  Partnered with over 40 oil and gas exhibitions and conferences around the world, Ms. Olivero’s role as a Global Visionary, is to unite energy nations of the world to “create a new energy future”.

Ruthlessly pursuing her passion for sustainability, Ms. Olivero brings a strong message around the globe.  Tina says, “New energy regimes and results are a product of our creativity.  Creativity in our corporations must be architected into a culture.  The culture of our corporations will create our future sustainability.  Sustainability is a very personal mindset and one that each of us should hold as a top priority – on par with safety.  Everyone is capable of creative and sustainable solutions that will make a difference and support a powerful future for our kids.  I care about our world today and my children’s world in the future.  So while I have the chance, I’m going to do everything in my power to leave this world in even better shape than we originally found it.  I’m inspired by that mission, because in the process of creating sustainable cultures, people will come to realize how powerful, innovative, creative and inventive we really are!”
