<p>Pool Operators&#8217; Level 2 certification is required.</p>
<p>The successful applicant must complete a Criminal Record Check, the results of which must be satisfactory to the City. <p>Successful candidates must be minimum 19 years of age and have prior climbing experience. A condition of employment will be successful completion of the City of Dawson Creek climbing wall attendant training tentatively scheduled for June 8 &amp; 9, 2013.  A demonstrated teaching ability, current first aid certification, and a flexible schedule will be considered assets. Successful applicants will be required to complete and submit a Security/Reliability Clearance and a Criminal Record Search, the results of which must be satisfactory to the City.  </p>

<p> The successful applicant must demonstrate ability and possess the following current qualifications:<br />-          Current National Lifeguard Award (Pool Option);<br />-          Red Cross Water Safety Instructor Certification;<br />-          Certification in CPR “C”;<br />-          AED Certification;<br />-          Lifesaving Instructor Certification;<br />-          Pool Operator II certification;<br /> -         2 yrs experience as a Lifeguard/Instructor with one yr experience in a leadership role;</p>

<p> The successful applicant will have the ability to perform all duties in a safe manner and to maintain harmonious relationships with all members of the public and other staff members.  Physical agility, the ability to complete duties requiring physical effort and a proven ability to provide excellent service to the public are required.</p>
