City of Dawson Creek Logo

Walter Wright Pioneer Village

This historic village portrays a theme depicting Dawson Creek before the Alaska Highway construction period and will transport you to the time when our community was on the edge of the frontier. Visit our shops and restaurant and enjoy our staff's infectious and warm hospitality. While at the village, stroll around the fields and view farm machinery from our past. The Sudeten Hall is a tribute to the Sudeten people of Germany who came to our area in 1939, fleeing Hitler's army.

Bus and group tours are always welcome at the Walter Wright Pioneer Village and Sudeten Hall. Reservations are recommended. Public washrooms are available.
