Sealed tenders clearly marked “City of Dawson Creek – 2017 Site Servicing and Insulation Works” will be received by the City of Dawson Creek up to 2:00:00 p.m., (local time), Thursday August 3rd, 2017, at 10105 – 12A Street, Dawson Creek, BC  V1G 3V7 where a Public Tender Opening will take place.


The work consists of the following work:

  • Installation of three (3) 19 mm water services from water main to facility on private property. Work, includes restoration and tie ins
  • Insulation of two existing sanitary sewer services from main to facility
  • Supply and installation of two sanitary manholes complete with insulation


Contract documents, contract drawing and any reference material for this project will only be distributed electronically in digital format (PDF) through MERX. Information will be available online on or after July 20th, 2017.


No registration, tracking or other recording of tender document holders will be performed by the Owner or Contract Administrator.  All addenda, amendments or further information will be published on the MERX website.  It is the sole responsibility of the Tenderer to monitor the website regularly to check for updates.  Tenders must be accompanied by the required Tender Surety specified in the Tender Documents.

The City reserves the right to accept or reject all or any bids and to waive any informality, incompleteness or error in any bid. Bids will be opened in public on the date and time specified in the Bid Documents. Bidders must refer to the Contract Documents for the terms governing the Bid process. All bids received by the City of Dawson Creek Director of Corporate Administration become the property of The Corporation of the City of Dawson Creek and as such are subject to the Municipal Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act.
