Engineering Services for Runway Extension

 

The City of Dawson Creek invites submissions from qualified contractors to complete Engineering Services for a 1,000 foot Runway Extension at the Dawson Creek Regional Airport. This would include a Public Consultation Process, Engineering, Planning and Design of a 1,000 foot Runway Extension in compliance with NAV CANADA, Transport Canada and TP-312 5th Edition requirements and any other Federal, Provincial or Municipal legislation.

All contract documents are available through BC Bid. The proponent is solely responsible for ensuring any addenda are downloaded, reviewed, and included in their proposal. Questions regarding specifications can be directed to Patrick Sihota, Airport Manager, at psihota@dawsoncreek.ca.

 

Proposals will be accepted up to 2:00 p.m. (local time), June 1, 2018. Proposals must be sealed in an opaque envelope, clearly marked with the name and address of the proponent and the project name/number and will be received by Brenda Ginter, Director of Corporate Administration, at:

It is the sole responsibility of the proponent to ensure that its proposal is received at the above location and by the time stipulated. Proposals received after the stipulated time will be rejected and returned to the proponent unopened. Faxed proposals are not acceptable and will be rejected. The City reserves the right to accept or reject all or any proposals and to waive any informality, incompleteness or error in any proposal.
