The City of Dawson Creek invites applications for Account Receivable/Cashier position. Under the direction of the Chief Financial Officer or designate, the Accounts Receivable Clerk/Cashier performs a wide variety of clerical and accounting duties pertaining to the Finance Department.  The Accounts Receivable Clerk/Cashier position has primary responsibility for all cashier functions.

The successful applicant must have a working knowledge of microcomputer systems and standard software programs.  Knowledge of the City’s accounts receivable procedure and programs would be an asset.

Completion of Grade 12 is required, accompanied by post-secondary education involving accounting courses.  An equivalent combination of education and experience would be acceptable.  A demonstrated ability to maintain harmonious relationships with all members of the public and other staff members is necessary.
