Flooding Updates

In response to the flooding that occurred over the weekend, the City has arranged for free sandbags for local citizens in need through Reg Norman Trucking at 250.782.2778.

Contractors are attempting to make an effort to collect garbage where feasible. If your collection has been missed, residents can notify the City at 250-784-3600 or through the City app.

Below are the weekend updates of the status of flooding in Dawson Creek:

Monday, June 15th  – 17th Street is now also closed between 100th Avenue and 102nd Avenue and 102nd Avenue is closed between 16th and 17th Street.

Sunday, June 14th  – 17th Street is currently closed between 102nd Avenue and 108th Avenue and 108th Avenue is closed between Poplar Crescent and Chilton Subdivision due to water crossing the road. These areas will remain closed until the water recedes and travel is safe again. Please use caution and stay safe.
