MEDIA RELEASE: Chief Administrative Officer Relocating




For Immediate Release: February 12, 2020

Duncan Redfearn, Chief Administrative Officer will be leaving his position with the City of Dawson Creek to become the new CAO in Grand Forks, BC.

Redfearn has worked for the City of Dawson Creek for 12 years, three of those as the Chief Administrative Officer.

“It was one of the most difficult decisions I have had to make, leaving behind an amazing team at the City of Dawson Creek, friends, family, and deep roots within Dawson Creek,” said Duncan Redfearn.

“On behalf of Mayor and Council and all of the employees and residents, we want to offer our sincere appreciation to Duncan for his service to the City,” said Mayor Dale Bumstead. “ We would also like to extend our best wishes to Duncan and his family; we will miss them immensely in the community”.

In preparation for his departure in March, Redfearn will work with Council to fill the vacancy.
