Media Release: 102nd Avenue Crossing Replacement Project

Earlier this spring, the City of Dawson Creek was approved for a total of $5.9 Million through the Investing in Canada Infrastructure Program’s new COVID-19 Community Resilience Stream, funded by the federal and provincial governments.

The City of Dawson Creek project will include the replacement of the 102nd Avenue creek crossing with a new clear span bridge and renovation of the surrounding creek area to protect from scour, erosion, and flooding. This project has been long-awaited by the community, and the City of Dawson Creek is extremely grateful to the federal and provincial governments for selecting this project that will make such an important impact on Dawson Creek residents.
