TAKE NOTICE that a Public Hearing will be held at 9:00 a.m., in Council Chambers, City Hall, Dawson Creek, B.C. on Monday, March 22, 2021. Any member of the public, who feels they may be affected by the proposed changes to the City of Dawson Creek Official Community Plan Bylaw No. 4343, 2018, and Zoning Bylaw No. 4450, 2020 may submit comments in writing to email@example.com for inclusion on the Public Hearing agenda no later than noon on Friday, March 19, 2021. Please note that due to the current COVID-19 restrictions, members of the public are not allowed to attend the Public Hearing in person.
The purpose of the OCP amendment is to amend the land use designation of specified portions of Chamberlain Park, from Parks, Natural Areas and Trails to Low Density Residential, to allow for the consolidation of 190m2 of land with 1824 Willowbrook Crescent and 206.95m2 with 10737 Poplar Crescent. The zoning amendment would rezone the specified portions of Chamberlain Park from P-1, Parks and Natural Areas to RS-1, Residential Single Detached.
