Notice of Public Consultation & Public Hearing on Monday, April 25, 2022

TAKE NOTICE that a Public Consultation and a Public Hearing will be held beginning at 9:00 a.m., in Council Chambers, City Hall, Dawson Creek, B.C. on Monday, April 25, 2022.  Any member of the public who feels they may be affected by the proposed changes to Official Community Plan (OCP) Bylaw No. 4373,2018 and/or Zoning Bylaw No. 4450,2020 may comment at that time or may submit comments in writing to agenda@dawsoncreek.ca for inclusion on the Public Consultation/Public Hearing agenda by noon on Thursday, April 14, 2022.

OCP Amendment Bylaw 4522, 2022 proposes to re-designate the property located at 821 – 119th Avenue from Highway Commercial to Low Density Residential.  Zoning Amendment Bylaw 4519, 2022 proposes to change the zoning of same property from C-3 Highway Commercial Zone to RS-2 Residential-Single Detached and Duplex Zone.

A copy of the proposed OFFICIAL COMMUNITY PLAN AMENDMENT (22-01) BYLAW NO. 4522, 2022 and ZONING AMENDMENT (22-01) BYLAW NO. 4519, 2022 may be seen between the hours of 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, excluding holidays at City Hall, 10105 – 12A Street, Dawson Creek, BC, or here.
