On Monday June 19, 2023 contractors will begin working on the installation of a new storm main on 17 Street and 95 Avenue. Please expect this section of 17 Street to be closed through Monday June 19 while the crews complete their work over the day. To avoid delays and congestion, please plan an alternative route.
A gravel filled section will remain until pavers are available to patch the crossing.

The District of Tumbler Ridge and the Peace River Regional District have made changes to the EVACUATION ORDERS for the West Kiskatinaw Fire (G70645) & Peavine Creek Fire (G70644).
If your property is no longer on EVACUATION ORDER, you can go home! You do not need to check in at an Emergency Support Services Reception Centre. However, gas referrals are available, if required.

The City of Dawson Creek’s Annual Report for 2022 will be presented for Council approval at the Regular Council Meeting on Monday, June 26, 2023, which is also designated as the Annual Meeting.
Council is requesting input from the public on this document. Written comments received before June 19 will be included in the agenda.
The Annual Report and the Statement of Financial Information are available for public inspection at City Hall during normal business hours and on our website.

At the Regular Meeting of Council held May 8, 2023, Council proposed to amend the Reimbursement of Expenses Policy. The changes are shown highlighted in the proposed policy.
