Dawson Creek Emergency Reception Centre Update: May 19, 2024 16:30hrs

The Dawson Creek Emergency Reception Centre will be closed on Monday, May 20, 2024. The centre will be back open for renewals on Tuesday, May 21, 2024 from 10:00 to 16:00hrs for:

• Hotel renewals
• Food renewals
• E-transfer support
• Additional services such as income assistance and medical needs

The anticipated schedule for the Dawson Creek Emergency Reception Centre over the long weekend will be: 

• Saturday, May 18: 10:00 to 14:00hrs 

• Sunday, May 19: 10:00 to 14:00hrs 

• Monday, May 20: CLOSED 

• Tuesday, May 21: 10:00 to 16:00hrs

The Emergency Support Services team will be onsite to continue connecting evacuees with services.

The Dawson Creek Emergency Reception Centre will reopen tomorrow, Friday, May 17, 2024 at 10:00hrs to continue offering support.   

Location: Sudeten Hall, Walter Wright Pioneer Village, 1901 Alaska Hwy, Dawson Creek, BC 

Open Hours for Thursday, May 17, 2024: 10:00hrs to 14:00hrs 

The Emergency Support Services team will be onsite to continue connecting evacuees with the following: 

• lodging, food, and supplies 

• medical needs 

• animal services
