In recent years, the community has expressed to Council the need for them to consider an outdoor water feature in response to the closure of Rotary Lake. This notion was supported through the engagement and development of the City’s Park, Recreation and Culture Master Plan. Over the last year, Mayor Darcy Dober has been busy building up relationships hosting round tables with specific groups within the community. One of those round tables is a group of individuals and organizations that provide services to youth in Dawson Creek.
