10:12AM UPDATE: Barricades have been removed at the intersection and traffic in the area has resumed.

Pursuant to Section 127 of the Community Charter, notice is hereby given of a Special Meeting of Council, to be held on Tuesday, November 21, 2023, at 9:00 a.m. at Staybridge Suite Meeting Room, 1324 Alaska Avenue. The meeting will be closed to the public as per section 90(1)(k) negotiations and related discussions respecting the proposed provision of a municipal service that are at their preliminary stages.

2023 Christmas Tree Light-Up

Thanks to the South Peace Oilmen's Association and a whole host of local companies, the 2023 Christmas Tree is now in place downtown waiting for the light-up countdown. The downtown core at the intersection of 102nd Avenue and 10th Street will be closed for the Christmas Tree Light-up beginning at 5:00 PM on Friday November 17th. This event is hosted by our local Rotary group volunteers.
