This fun and social program will get you moving in a relaxed and inviting class environment with likeminded people. Classes include discussions and handouts to help your overall health and physical well-being. Class sizes are small so register early; sign up now by calling Community Services at 250-784-3604.
Choose to Move (Ages 65+ yrs) *FREE*
We’re looking for older adults who want to be more physically active. An activity coach will meet with you and supports you along your path to better health by one-on-one group meetings, monthly group meetings and regular check-in phone calls. Class sizes are limited to twelve (12) so register today! sign up now by calling Community Services at 250-784-3604.
Shell Summer in the Park *FREE EVENT*
Free events are hosted throughout the summer with Shell Canada and the City of Dawson Creek at different City parks! A variety of activities are being offered including geocaching, disc golf, bouncy castles and crafts. Fit and Fun (EveryBODY Active) Kits *FREE Rental*
Did you know the Community Services Department has Activity Kits you can sign out? They are great for family reunions, picnics, birthday parties, etc. These kits are free – all you need to do is provide a $50 refundable deposit. When the kits are returned, you will get your $50 back. If there is any damage or items missing, the deposit will go towards the replacement/repair. To rent a kit, come in to the Community Services Office (downstairs at City Hall). For more information, call us at 250-784-3604.
