The goal of the Community Services Department is to restart recreation in a safe and progressive manner within a pandemic environment. With playgrounds, tennis courts and outdoor equipment now open, our current focus is on outdoor & indoor programming and we have some exciting programs lined up for the fall!

All programs require registration – no drop in available. When registering for any programs, please review the Program Participant Package, fill out all required forms (found on our recreation forms page).

Programs are planned using current information and guidelines from provincial agencies and local health authorities. They will look a little different than what you may be used to; please click here to find out what to expect.

Due to limited numbers, registration for programs is open to residents in Dawson Creek, Pouce Coupe, Area D and E and neighboring border communities (Bonanza, Bay Tree, Savanna, Gundy), with the exception of the volleyball leagues (no Alberta teams or players at this time, due to safety guidelines from viaSport and the BC Volleyball Association).
