Ice will be divided in 2; one side for regular public skate, the other for shinny. To play shinny, a stick, hockey gloves and a CSA approved helmet are required. Hockey sticks must stay on the shinny side of the ice, except when entering and exiting the ice surface. $2 Admission (Skates and Helmets are free to rent for Shinny Skate, however limited sizes are available. Drop In Pickleball (Age 15+) – Come try this fun sport that combines many elements of tennis, badminton and ping-pong. Equipment is provided or you can bring your own. Fun fact: the game is officially named after the game inventor’s dog, Pickles, who used to run after the ball and not come back with it! *Youth 15 - 18 years must have written consent from a parent/guardian. Winter Park and Play! – *FREE Event* **UPDATE: January 14th** Due to the weather forecast, all activities will be scheduled at KIN ARENA from 11am to 2pm. Come join the Community Services Department for a day of snowshoeing, skating, board games, hot chocolate, hot dogs, and more! Bring your own skates and helmets (if you do not own skates or helmets, some are available but there is a limited supply). The Literacy Society will be on site as well!
