Collection Schedule

The City of Dawson Creek works with a local contractor to facilitate the residential garbage and recycling pick-up service.

Schedule

Garbage pick-up service happens weekly. Recycling pick-up service happens bi-weekly. Use the Dawson Creek City App or the Waste Wizard to view your schedule.

Missed pick-up

Report a missed pick-up by calling 311 and dialing #6. This will connect you directly with our provider and ensure your missed bin is reported quickly. If you have additional concerns or would like to reach out via email, please use our "Report a Concern" form at the button below.

Common reasons for missed pick-up:

• Snow delays
• Carts were not set out by 7:00 AM on collection day
• Carts were placed improperly at the curb
• Carts contained unacceptable items

Holiday pick-up schedules

Garbage and Recycling schedules will remain the same on every statutory holiday except for Christmas Day and New Year's Day. Check your December schedule on the Waste Wizard to view any changes to holiday pick-up times.

Missed pick-up

Report a missed pick-up by reporting a concern below or contact our Utilities Clerk by email. Please wait until the end of your pick-up day to notify our clerk, as daily pick-up times may vary.
