Housing Needs

In 2021, we partnered with the Peace River Regional District to complete a Housing Needs Report. The report gives a detailed overview of housing indicators and needs in our city. Some key areas of need include:

  • Rental housing
    • Although there are vacancies available in rental housing, there are not many that are affordable for lower income or senior led households.
  • Supportive housing
    • More supportive housing for individuals with disabilities is needed in our community.
