The Subdivision and Servicing Bylaw and Zoning Bylaw set out the rules for subdivisions within Dawson Creek. The City's Approving Officer reviews and considers proposed subdivisions. A subdivision of land can:
- create two or more lots out of one lot
- adjust an existing property line
- consolidate two or more lots into one
