TAKE NOTICE that the City of Dawson Creek hereby provides notice under Section 466 of the Local Government Act that a Public Hearing will be held on September 9, 2024, at 10:30 am in Council Chambers, City Hall, 10105 12A Street. Any member of the public who feel they may be affected by the proposed changes respecting the matters contained in the proposed Zoning Amendment (24-02) Bylaw No. 4589, 2024 may comment at that time.

Zoning Amendment (24-02) Bylaw No. 4589, 2024 proposes to amend Comprehensive Development One (CD-1) to the following:
1. Changing the maximum height of principal buildings from 10.5 m to the lesser of 16 m or 3 storeys.
2. The addition of the following:
a. Principal uses of Commercial Daycare and Community Care Facility;
b. Accessory uses of Secondary Suites and Accessory Dwelling Units; and
c. Other regulations such as Secondary Suites permitted as Accessory Uses in Townhouses and Triplexes; and only one Accessory Dwelling Unit is permitted as an Accessory Use in Duplexes.
