Blue Spruce is a slow growing evergreen tree. Blue spruce can reach heights of 30 – 60 ft. (9 – 18 m) tall. Spruce grow best in cooler climates and do not tolerate high heat and humidity well. Spruce prefer rich well drained soils. Young trees require lots of water until establishment. Mature trees do not need as much water and can become quite drought tolerant. Blue spruce requires partial sun – full sun exposure.
