September is Literacy Month in Dawson Creek

At the Regular Meeting of Council held today, September 20, 2021, City Council, along with the Dawson Creek Literacy NOW group, proclaimed September as Literacy Month in Dawson Creek. 

Literacy connects us all as a community. Literacy:

  • connects us to health, our kids, and better finances
  • connects us to employment, health and safety, and learning
  • connects us to civic engagement, others, and our rights
