The City of Dawson Creek holds a municipal election every four years. The next Municipal Election will take in October 2026 on the following dates in the Upper Lobby at the Ovintiv Events Centre (#1 300 Hwy 2, Dawson Creek, BC):
- Advance Voting Day - October 7, 2026
- Advance Voting Day - October 14, 2026
- General Voting Day - October 17, 2026
