FIRST NOTICE OF FIRST READING - Zoning Amendment (25-04) Bylaw No. 4611, 2025
TAKE NOTICE that Council of the City of Dawson Creek will consider first three readings of Zoning Amendment (25-04) Bylaw No. 4611, 2025, during the Regular Council Meeting held at 9:00 a.m., in Council Chambers, City Hall, Dawson Creek, B.C. on August 11, 2025. In accordance with Sections 464 and 467 of the Local Government Act, Council is not required to hold a Public Hearing for Zoning Amendment (25-04) Bylaw No. 4611, 2025, but must provide public notice prior to first reading of the bylaw.
The purpose of the Zoning Amendment is to rezone the Subject Property outlined in bold and crosshatched on the sketch herein, located at 1405 101 Avenue from C-4 Service Commercial Zone to C-2 General Commercial Zone, which will allow for a Community Care Facility.
A copy of proposed Zoning Amendment (25-04) Bylaw No. 4611, 2025 may be inspected at the Planning Department, City Hall, 10105 – 12A Street, Dawson Creek, BC, during regular office hours from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday to Friday, excluding statutory holidays, from August 1 to August 11, 2025.
