Emergency Overland Water Transfer Update - December 12, 2025
The State of Local Emergency (SOLE) Declaration has been renewed to December 23, 2025 to keep response tools active during the drought.
Currently, the City team is still able to pump from the Kiskatinaw River and maintain reservoir storage levels.
The Emergency Operations team is continuing to pursue permitting for the approval of the emergency overland water transfer - running a hose along the highway from the Peace River to the Dawson Creek water system.
