NOTICE OF INTENT TO DISPOSE OF PROPERTY - 632 & 628 106 Avenue & 1537 96 Avenue
Pursuant to Section 26 of the Community Charter, the City of Dawson Creek hereby gives notice of its intent to dispose of municipally-owned property located at 632 106 Avenue, 628 106 Avenue, and 1537 96 Avenue, Dawson Creek, BC legally described as:
· Lot 6 Block 1 Section 14 Township 78 Range 15 West of The 6th Meridian Peace River District Plan 5526;
· Lot 7 Block 1 Section 14 Township 78 Range 15 West of The 6th Meridian Peace River District Plan 5526; and
· Lot 8 Section 15 Township 78 Range 15 West of The 6th Meridian Peace River District Plan 7216.
The City proposes to transfer the three aforementioned City-owned properties and pay $142,800.00 to 1342000 B.C. LTD. (Inc. No. BC1342000) in exchange for the properties located at 10424 17 Street and 10428 17 Street, Dawson Creek, BC that are owned by 1342000 B.C. Ltd.
This transaction supports the City’s ongoing flood mitigation and park network planning, including the City’s intended future consolidation and rezoning of the newly acquired properties as public parkland.
