NOTICE OF INTENT TO DISPOSE OF PROPERTY AND TO PROVIDE ASSISTANCE - 1001 105 Avenue
Pursuant to Sections 24 and 26 of the Community Charter, the City of Dawson Creek hereby gives notice of its intent to dispose of municipally owned property located at 1001 105 Avenue, Dawson Creek, BC, legally described as Lot 3, Section 15, Township 78, Range 15, W6M and commonly known as the Centennial Pool Site, to the Peace River Regional District (PRRD).
The proposed disposition involves the transfer of the property to the PRRD for the purpose of constructing an Administrative Building. As the property will be transferred for nominal consideration, below market value, this transaction constitutes assistance to another public authority.
The disposition also includes coordinated planning of parking and site access to integrate with adjacent municipal facilities. Following project completion, the parking area will be available for public use outside regular business hours to support attendance at municipal events and activities.
