Public Notice - Notice of 1st Reading Zoning Amendment (25-06) Bylaw No. 4616, 2025
TAKE NOTICE that Council of the City of Dawson Creek will consider first, second, and third readings of Zoning Amendment (25-06) Bylaw No. 4616, 2025, during the Regular Council Meeting held at 9:00 a.m., in Council Chambers, City Hall, Dawson Creek, B.C. on September 8, 2025. In accordance with Sections 464 and 467 of the Local Government Act, Council is not required to hold a Public Hearing for Zoning Amendment (25-06) Bylaw No. 4616, 2025, but must provide public notice prior to first reading of the bylaw.
The purpose of the Zoning Amendment is to include Schedules C, D, and E, to Zoning Bylaw No. 4582, 2024, as referred to in section 5.3.1 “Flood Control Requirements.”
A copy of proposed Zoning Amendment (25-06) Bylaw No. 4616, 2025, along with the referenced Schedules may be inspected at the Planning Department, City Hall, 10105 – 12A Street, Dawson Creek, BC, during regular office hours from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday to Friday, excluding statutory holidays, from August 29 to September 8, 2025.
