Public Notice - Notice of Public Hearing for Proposed Official Community Plan Bylaw No. 4620, 2025.

TAKE NOTICE that a Public Hearing will be held at 9:00 am, in Council Chambers, City Hall, 10105 - 12A Street Dawson Creek, on Monday, February 23, 2026, with respect to Official Community Plan Bylaw No. 4620, 2025. 

The Purpose of the Official Community Plan (OCP) is to act as a statement of objectives and policies to guide decisions on planning and land use management within the City of Dawson Creek, respecting the purposes of local government. 

Members of the public may make representations respecting matters contained in the proposed bylaw at that time or may submit written comments by email for inclusion on the Public Hearing agenda by 12:00 pm (noon) on Friday, February 20, 2026. General questions regarding the goals and objectives of the Official Community Plan may be directed to the City Planner at 250-784-3618 or by email. 

Members of the public are also invited to attend the Public Hearing to ask questions about the OCP or can view live stream on the City of Dawson Creek Facebook Page. 

A copy of the proposed City of Dawson Creek Official Community Plan Bylaw No. 4620, 2025 may be inspected in the Development Services Department at City Hall, 10105 - 12A Street, Dawson Creek, BC, February 13-23, 2026, between the hours of 8:30 am and 4:30 pm, Monday to Friday, excluding statutory holidays. Additionally, the bylaw may be viewed online via the City of Dawson Creek Website.
