High School Lifeguard Training Program

A guided pathway for high school students to earn the certifications needed for lifeguard employment. Blending classroom and in-water training, this academy builds skills step-by-step so participants are job-ready.

Quick Facts

Bronze Medallion & Bronze Cross – Must be 13 years old by the last day of the course.

National Lifeguard – Must be 15 years old by the last day of the course.

  • Complete your Instructor Training in First Aid, Lifesaving, Swim Lessons, Lifeguarding or Climbing. Become certified as an instructor in a number of different areas!
