Phone Service Update

The City Department Phone Lines, including the Fire Hall Phone Line, are back up and running.

Call individual departments directly via the information on our Contacts page or call 311 to be directed to a department by Staff.

Thank you for your patience while our phone service was being restored over these last few months.

Pool and Swimming

Enjoy a swim or waterfit class, sign up for a swim lesson or learn how to become a lifeguard at the Kenn Borek Aquatic Centre. We have a lap pool, leisure pool with ramp, tots pool, hot tub, sauna, steam room, waterslide and pool-side spectator seating. 

Try out the Climbing Wall or let the little ones play on the indoor playground located in our lobby.

MultiPass - One Way to Play

The MultiPass is a pass for drop-in activities that can be used at all City of Dawson Creek recreation facilities, including:

  • Swimming at the Kenn Borek Aquatic Centre

  • Skating and Hockey and Shinny at the Memorial Arena

  • Indoor climbing wall at the Kenn Borek Aquatic Centre

  • Kin Arena Sports Floor (basketball, futsal, more)

  • One pass, one price – no more juggling fees

  • Drop-in passes are available for youth, students, adults, and seniors. You can purchase a MultiPass in person at any rec facility or call 250-784-3604 to purchase over the phone.

Cost

Our Fees and Charges Bylaw is updated each year through Council and comes into effect on May 1st. 

Admission definitions:

  • Family includes up to 2 adults and up to 6 youth living in same household
  • University/College Students who show valid student ID get Youth Admission Rate
  • A 3 Month Pass or Annual Passes are also available for a discounted rate

Occasionally one or more pool features may be closed due to unexpected circumstances. Call ahead at (250)782-SWIM to find out which pool features are up and running before you arrive.
