Annual Cemetery Clean-up May 3, 2021 – May 7, 2021
April 15, 2021The City is preparing to once again perform our annual spring maintenance cleanup in the City Cemetery and Brookside Cemetery during the week of May 3rd to May 7th. During this annual task, only items left on grave sites throughout the previous year that have become damaged or broken such as glass, natural flowers that have decayed over time or plastic flowers that have weathered and torn, will be removed from gravesites and discarded. This work is completed in order to accommodate operational maintenance,
maintain the aesthetics of the facility, and also to protect the safety of workers and the visiting Public in the coming year. Prior to the week of May 3rd, the City is requesting that any member of the Public please collect any items of significance or of sentimental value that you feel may be removed. You may place these items back at the gravesite again if you wish to after May 7th. The City wishes to thank you for your understanding and participation and we truly appreciate each person doing their best to honor our deceased.
