South Peace Multiplex Unfinished Space Planning Approved
Council reviewed options for the unfinished area inside the South Peace Community Multiplex and directed Staff to proceed with planning and design work for the space.
The proposed concept would convert a portion of the area into flexible meeting and programming space while retaining the eastern section for operational storage. Staff will complete the necessary architectural, structural, mechanical, and electrical design work and prepare a cost estimate for the project. The planning and design phase is expected to cost approximately $150,000 and will be funded through the 2026 and 2027 Facilities Consulting Design Service capital budget.
Once the planning work is complete, Staff will return to Council with additional information and recommendations for consideration before any future construction decisions are made. View the full report online.
