NOTICE OF PROPOSED COUNCIL PROCEDURE AMENDMENT BYLAW

Notice is hereby given pursuant to Sections 124 and 94 of the Community Charter that the Council of the City of Dawson Creek is proposing to amend Council Procedure Bylaw No. 4374, 2018, at the Annual Meeting of Council on June 29, 2026, and is required to give public notice of the proposed changes.

In general terms, the proposed changes are to update the definitions for City Hall and the Public Notice Posting Place.

A copy of the proposed Council Procedure Amendment Bylaw No. 4635, 2026, may be inspected at City Hall, upstairs in the Administration Department, June 19-29, 2026, during regular business hours, Monday to Friday, from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, excluding statutory holidays. 

The staff report outlining the changes in detail may be viewed on the City’s website after 4:30 pm on June 24, 2026.
