Notice of Public Hearing for Proposed Official Community Plan Bylaw Amendment - July 14, 2025
TAKE NOTICE that a Public Hearing will be held at 9:00 a.m., in Council Chambers, City Hall, Dawson Creek, B.C. on Monday, July 14, 2025. Any member of the public, who feel they may be affected by the proposed changes to Official Community Plan Bylaw No. 4373, 2018, may comment at that time or may submit comments in writing to agenda@dawsoncreek.ca for inclusion on the Public Hearing agenda by 12 pm (noon) on Monday, July 7, 2025.
Members of the public are also invited to attend the Public Hearing to ask questions about the OCP amendment or can view live stream on the City of Dawson Creek Facebook page.
The following amendment is proposed to The City of Dawson Creek Official Community Plan Land Use Map, attached as Schedule B to the City of Dawson Creek Official Community Plan Bylaw No. 4373, 2018 to alter the land use designation for a portion of land adjacent to the Dawson Mall from Parks, Natural Areas and Trails to General Commercial.
A copy of the proposed CITY OF DAWSON CREEK OFFICIAL COMMUNITY PLAN AMENDMENT (25-01) BYLAW NO. 4608, 2025 may be seen between the hours of 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, excluding holidays at City Hall, 10105 - 12A Street, Dawson Creek, BC. Questions regarding the zoning amendment may be directed to the Planner at 250-784-3601.
