Highways
Highway 2 runs up and across the City, intersecting with the Spirit River Highway and Alaska Highway. The Province of BC maintains this highway and is responsible for all upkeep. The crossing replacement created a larger overpass for the dawson creek to flow through, which will reduce pressure on the system during heavy spring rain.
Railways
Dawson Creek is connected by CN Rail to Fort Nelson and the ports of Prince Rupert and Vancouver for freight service.
