Hired Equipment Registration
The City of Dawson Creek hires qualified contractors to assist with general and utility emergency services, such as water main breaks, flooding, or road repairs.
Register as a qualified contractor
Fill out the Hired Equipment registration form if you are a qualified contractor who has an excavator, dump truck, bulldozer, backhoe, or grader.
Emergency categories
There are two emergency categories. Contractors can select either or both:
- General emergencies: ditching, earthwork, and snow plowing
- Utility emergencies: underground water, storm and sewer systems
Submissions
To be considered, submissions must include:
- Registration Form
- Contractor Pricing Sheet
- City of Dawson Creek Business License
- Proof of Good Standing with WorkSafeBC
- Commercial General Liability
- ICBC APV47 or equivalent certificate
Submit the form and documents electronically to Public Works at publicworks@dawsoncreek.ca. The City does not accept .zip files. Alternatively, in-person submissions can be made at the Public Works Office at 92 Vic Turner Road, Dawson Creek, BC.
