Sign Permits
Apply for a Sign Permit to place a sign on the outside of a building or structure, or on any property within Dawson Creek city limits. Submit an application for approval before installing your sign.
Cost
Our Fees and Charges Bylaw is updated each year through Council. You can find permits fees in Schedule 'E'. Costs increase on January 1st every year.
Permanent signs
Permanent signs include:
- awning signs
- canopy signs
- fascia signs
- freestanding signs
- home-based business signs
- mini billboard signs
- projecting signs
- sandwich board signs
Portable signs
Portable signs include:
- a sign not fixed to the ground or to a building
- a sign designated to move from place to place
